The CogWorks lab has been at Rensselaer since 2002. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Carnegie Building, Room 213. The lab is usually made up of 1 to 5 graduate students, up to 2 postdocs, and any number of undergraduate lab assistants.
If you have strong technical skills and a passionate interest in human cognitive science, and an interest in joining the lab as a graduate student or a postdoc, contact Professor Gray at email@example.com.
If you are an undergraduate student at RPI wanting to participate in research, you can participate in some of our experiments for credit in participating classes. Check Cognitive Science Participant Registry for open experiment slots.
If you are interested in becoming involved with lab research, the best way to get started is to read the information on this page FAQ: Why Join the CWL and if this describes you and your interest, contact Professor Gray at the email address above, and/or come to our weekly meetings, Wednesdays at 10:30am, on the 3rd floor of the Carnegie Building. We are always looking for interested undergraduates to help run subjects, conduct small experiments, or work on programming projects. Many of our past undergraduates have written, submitted, and presented papers based on the work they did in the CogWorks Lab. Check out the Projects page for information on some of our current projects. If you are interested but cannot make the lab meetings, email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
